Hi and welcome to my site.
I’m a Digital Transformation Enabler with nearly two decades’ experience driving technology-led change across some of the world’s most recognised companies and brands. My passion lies in exploring how technology shapes human interaction and how in turn, our interactions shape the technology around us.
What I Do
My work centres around planning and executing strategies that leverage emerging technologies to create innovation that delights users and indirectly deepens brand loyalty. I view strategy as both art and science. The art lies in sensing environmental shifts before they fully emerge by combining analytical rigour with creative insight to recognise patterns others might overlook. The science involves transforming potential disruption into sustainable growth opportunities and ultimately approaching each challenge with the methodical precision of an empirical researcher.
What I’m Passionate About
I’m passionate about harnessing technology in ways that make sense out of chaos. I thrive on exploring answers to critical questions that enable us to become better versions of ourselves. I believe that technology, at its best, should simplify rather than complicate our lives and so I’ve come to see my work as a form of mindful curation in identifying and isolating the useful innovations that truly serve human needs from an endless cacophony of emerging possibilities.
Why I’m Passionate
What drives me is both genuine enjoyment and recognition that technology is never neutral. Every interface, algorithm, and system embodies its creator’s biases and the data it learns from, yet goes on to shape behaviours in subtle and profound ways.
This understanding transforms innovation from mere optimisation into an opportunity to create more equitable, inclusive digital spaces that welcome diverse human experiences. I actively seek missing perspectives, exploring whose needs remain unaddressed and whose voices go unheard in design processes. Impactful innovation requires diverse input and the courage to challenge our assumptions about what’s “normal”, especially when those preconceptions reflect narrow worldviews.
More Personal
I’m also an avid reader, a published writer (and so perhaps also occasional writer), art lover and amateur tennis player with varied interests ranging from cognitive science to psychology, modernist architecture to digital culture, machine learning to human-centred design – and everything in between. This site is mainly a reflection of my personal thoughts, philosophies and curiosity across a wide range of subjects that interest and fascinate me: How do we maintain our humanity in an increasingly automated world? What makes technology truly meaningful? Where do our digital and analog lives intersect in ways that enrich and not diminish our human experiences? What does it mean to be human? Can machines have a conscience? How does technology reshape human connection? What implicit futures are we designing toward?
I invite you to join me as you read along and I hope that my thoughts can spark a conversation. I’m also open to exploring your ideas if you’ve got any to share. Read on to find out what else inspires me and feel free to engage if you’re comfortable to.
